Sustainable Outdoor Parcel Dropbox
How have we made the Smart Parcel Delivery Box sustainable? Well, to begin with, we chose to make the box from a more sustainable material (rather than plastic).
The steel used in the parcel dropbox has been galvanised. This is a crucial step in the manufacturing process that helps to make our parcel box more sustainable. Galvanising the steel protects it from long term corrosion, meaning your box will not need to be replaced due to breakdown of the steel. Secondly, the galvanising process itself is eco-friendly as it is achieved with relatively low environmental burden.
This all means that you can be safe in the knowledge that your outside post Box will not corrode or break down over time. It is a one-time purchase and there is no need to replace your box after time, as the durable galvanised steel ensures a lifetime of use.
The last measure we took when manufacturing our range of Smart Parcel Box’s was to paint them using rust resistant coating. While this further protects the box, it also ensures that the colouring does not chip away over time, nor will it end up covered in unsightly rust that could also lead to damage.
Weatherproof Parcel Post Box
As the Smart Post Box is designed to be used outdoors, we wanted to make sure it was weatherproof. The box itself is protected from rain thanks to the rust resistant coating that we’ve used. Some boxes are designed to allow rain to cascade off the box, such as the Curve Top and Slanted Top. These, as well as every other box, are designed to prevent any water from pooling inside the box. This prevents the outdoor Parcel Box getting damaged from rain or harsh weather.
Versatile Delivery Box
As we said before, the Smart Parcel Box is designed to be a one-time purchase. Moving home? No problem, there’s no need to purchase a new box. Most parcel delivery boxes are suitable to be used in all residential homes, apartments or bungalows. Simply remove it from its current position, repair holes, and re-fit in your new home via the pre-drilled panel holes.
Another thing to remember is that we supply 3 keys per box, so you’ll always have a spare one to hand. In the unlikely event of you losing all 3 keys, simply get in touch with our Customer Care team for a lock replacement. Again, there is no need to completely replace your Smart Parcel Box.

Aside from the box being a one-time, durable purchase, the concept itself is also eco-friendly. It will reduce your carbon footprint as you’ll no longer spend time driving to sorting offices to retrieve missed parcels.
