What is an Anti-Fishing Bar?
An anti-fishing bar is one of the most important parts of your Smart Parcel Box. Part of the lid of the box, this bar stops hands from reaching into your parcel box when the lid is being opened. When the lid is lifted a false floor rises with it, allowing the parcel to be safely delivered. The lid is closed and the floor moves down into the box and the parcel is then safe within the holding compartment. Should the lid be lifted again, your already delivered parcel is safe and secure, locked within the box and cannot be accessed from the opened top due to the lid and anti-fishing bar preventing any access.

The short answer is: yes. All Smart Parcel Boxes have this anti-fishing bar installed, helping to keep your mail safe. Each parcel box will also be equipped with a unique barcode that can be scanned as proof of delivery and have a secure lock. Each parcel box comes with three keys, allowing you to give those in your home access to the box.
