Large Smart Parcel Box: Safety Features
Like all of our parcel drop boxes, the large parcel box is not only weather-resistant but has been coated in a rust-resistant powder. This gives you peace of mind when Britain is hit with those good ol’ rainy days. This will help to prevent the natural breakdown of the metal box, keeping it strong and durable.
On the inside, your parcels are forever protected by our anti-phishing bar. This means that hands can’t reach into the box and snag any letters or parcels that don’t belong to them. After all, mail fraud is still very real. Not to mention, the last thing you want is a parcel left on the doorstep when you won’t be home for hours. Soggy or stolen parcels will become a thing of the past with your new Smart Parcel Box!
All of our large outdoor letterboxes can easily be mounted to the wall or the floor, and have been secured with a top of the range key-lock. You’ll have a total of 3 keys at your disposal, but to keep your box secure, we advise you not to leave one outside or unattended.
💡 Did You Know: Both the letters and parcels in your large delivery box go to the same compartment hatch below. They will sit together until you’re ready to retrieve them, so you only need to make one trip!
Fully Customisable Large Smart Parcel Box
With our large parcel post boxes, you’ll have five standard colours to choose from: green, red, white, black and grey. If those colours aren’t up your street, though, you can always paint your parcel box yourself any colour you want! Just make sure to get weather-proof paint.
All of our Smart Parcel Boxes can have their locks changed, too. While none of our boxes will ever have the same lock/key combination for your security, we do understand a customers desire to secure their mail. While we don’t offer an in-house lock change service, here is a small step-by-step guide on how to measure your lock so you can purchase the correct lock size.
As lock sizes may vary between batches, the easiest way to get a secure and correct size is:
- By first fetching a standard screwdriver and a tape measure.
- At the rear of the lock, you’ll find a screw – this can be undone with the screwdriver. Proceed to remove the lock from the door of the box.
- Once this is removed, the lock can completely come out, leaving just the hole in the frame. You should then be able to measure this for an accurate lock size.
- Proceed to purchase a correct sized lock from your retailer of choice, and voila! You can then swap the locks over.
The Parcels
With our large letter boxes, the maximum parcel size you can receive will be 330 x 280 x 255mm. These types of boxes also have the ability to be accessed by both the front and the rear, so no matter how or where you wish to display your box, you’ll be able to retrieve your parcels with ease.
